Since there are three separate CCD lines in the LS-8000 (theres only one on all other CoolScan scanners), any small difference in sensitivity between the Nth CCD pixel in each of the three CCD lines can cause streaking when the same calibration data is used for each of the three CCD lines.I solved this problem in VueScan by only using one CCD line. works fine.
